Apple and Their Product Range of Laptops

With high end hardware and a user friendly interface, Apple laptops are more popular than ever before and more and more people are moving over from the traditional PC market. Apple currently offers three product ranges which include the MacBook Pro, the MacBook Air and the standard MacBook. All three ranges cater to different needs.

The general purpose range of laptops from Apple is the MacBook. This is aimed at the consumer market and offers high performance at a good value for money. With 2 GB of memory and a dual core processor from Intel, the laptop is certainly comparable to high end PCs. The latest model also sports and Nvidia G-force 9400M coupled with 256 megabytes of memory.

At the power user end of the spectrum, Apple offers the MacBook Pro, the latest models of which are extremely powerful. There are basically desktop replacements with enormous 17 inch screens, if dual core CPUs, up to 4 GB of RAM and graphics cards that are comparable to the highest end desktop options.

Finally, the MacBook Air is an ultra portable solution which weighs very little that is not skimp on power. Introduced in the beginning of 2008, they have now become very popular solutions for people on the road. In spite of their small size, they still have 13 inch screens, 2 GB in memory, dual core CPUs and generously large hard disks.

There are quite an impressive number of advantages offered by Apple computers. Unfortunately, many people are concerned about the compatibility issues and worried that if they move from PC to Macintosh, then they will not be able to run most of their old software. However, this is simply not the case. These days it is possible to run Windows in a virtual machine with your Macintosh. Not only that, the software supplied with Macintosh is extremely user friendly and should do everything that you want.
